Half Moon Bay Ocean GC 2026

We had a fun and enjoyable round of golf at the beautiful and challenging Ocean Course. The wind gusting to over 10 mph and the greens rolling at 10-11 per the pro shop contributed to the tough conditions and presented a significant challenge to all. Not even our best players could break 80. However, a few players met the challenge. Jon Prezalar holed out from sixty yards for one of his two birdies. Jeff Cobb blasted out of the gate with birdies at 2, 3 and 4. However, the golf gods put an end to that for the rest of the round. Co-President Thomas Brooks slam-dunked a difficult chip on 17. The flagstick probably still has a dent in it.
